Moving on

It’s been two years since, out of desperation, I started this blog detailing my terrible experience buying a vintage Hammond organ from American Organ Enthusiasts / Tone-Wheelmaker in Germany (now called Classical American Organs).

They sent me pictures of the Hammond A-100 organ I was supposedly buying, only to deliver a different one which hadn’t been revised at all and wasn’t working properly. They wouldn’t help at all and I was forced to hire a lawyer in Germany.

Last year I won the lawsuit against them. Then I had to go to the courts again, because they wouldn’t comply with the sentence (i.e. they wouldn’t pay me back my money and the expenses of the trial). Eventually they paid everything and picked up the organ.

This site has served its purpose, so I’m going to remove the rest of the posts and close it down soon. I have no desire to spend more time or money with this.

I hope my blog has saved some other people from getting burned. My last word of advice: thoroughly check the eBay feedback of any vendor. I wouldn’t buy anything if they have less than 99,9% positive feedback.

Good luck!
